We are diverse and passionate medical and emergency management professionals, deeply anchored in the ground truths of the underserved and high-need communities we serve. Our backgrounds include pre-hospital medicine, nursing, critical care, crisis counseling, training, instructional design, spiritual health, fan conventions, event production, public safety, security, logistics, laboratory management, corporate consulting, and many more. Our breadth and depth of experience creates a whole that is greater than the sum of its parts.
We are relevant, anchored in the realities not only of our work but the contexts and communities in which we work. We are safe and accessible. What can you offer that I cannot get somewhere else?
Our team focuses on spaces and communities that are often ignored by mainstream practices, and integrates considerations that apply across the board, but may not have been covered in other training. Fringe arts, fan conventions, festivals and outdoor events, kink events, and other "nontraditional" environments are where we've been practicing for over a decade. Further, the practice model behind our courses is a unique, pragmatic approach to achieving the "best accepted negotiated care", and managing risks that most places are either unaware of, or refuse to acknowledge.
Do I need previous experience ?
Absolutely not! While everyone brings their own experiences, you're here because you want to learn something new! Our courses and learning pathways are designed to guide you, but never constrain you. We'll help you get started and provide suggestions along the way, but ultimately, everyone's learning journey is different, and each person's reasons for being here will be unique. For those who are experienced professionals in our domains, we've got something for you too.
